Write a commentSt. John Bosco GAC have organised a Golf Classic at Warrenpoint Golf Club on Friday the 19th of June.
The winning fourball will receive an amazing first prize of golf and an overnight stay in Headfort, which is located near the picturesque heritage town in Kells, County Meath. There are other attractive prizes to be won on the day.
The 'Bosco has been serving the young people of Newry for over 50 years by promoting and organising gaelic football for both boys and girls ranging from 6 – 18 years. Presently, they are mentoring 10 underage teams, 3 adult teams as well as a G4M&O team.
Diageo has come on board as one of their main sponsors but they are appealing for the local community to support them on the day by playing in the event and/or sponsoring a shop/company/business sign on the golf course. Costs are as follows:
FOURBALL ON THE DAY £120
FOURBALL WITH SPONSORSHIP £200
SPONSORSHIP SIGN ON THE COURSE £100
The club is very appreciative of the ongoing support within Newry City and it is confident that both members, players and their families and the local business community will support this major fundraising event.
