La Feile Phadraig
A great day out – Saturday March 16th, the St Patrick’s Day parade in Newry and the members (young and old) from St John Bosco GAC turned out in force. It stayed dry, the crowds were out and the St John Bosco Family were pride of the parade all decked out with a new banner and flags celebrating their Golden Jubilee. Chairman Joe Ryan stated ‘I was extremely proud of the club today. To be chairman of any club in its golden jubilee year is a great honour. However to witness the large turnout from our members today was fantastic and for me to be part of such a family club is a real privilege.’
