Phase one of the New Thomas Davis GAC development, a full size Gaelic Pitch at Dorans Hill is now complete with Phase two a new community pavilion with 6 changing room, is also now at an advanced stage with the build planned for 2017-2018.
Phase 3, a new Irish language school & 2nd full size training pitch are currently going through the various stages within the education and planning Authorities.
We have huge ambitions for the club and are working tirelessly to bring these facilities to fruition and build a first class venue for the whole of our community.

Mens Senior Football
Hard work over the winter months is certainly paying off for the men with recent wins over An Port Mor, O' Hanlons & Clady, a draw game against Cullyhanna and two close games against Lissummon & Dorsey. A few players coming back from injury is a huge bonus and will add to the options available with players fighting for places on a weekly basis.
Next game Wednesday 23rd May 7pm at home against Crossmaglen.
Kellogg's - GAA Cúl Camps
Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.
Thomas Davis Cúl Camps runs from 31st July until the 4th August. Cost of one child Cúl Camps €50.00, 2nd (€45.00), 3rd/4th (€40.00). Places are limited, please register as soon as possible.

Sunday 28th May at 11.00am Thomas Davis will be having a sponsored walk.
Sponsor sheets will be distributed throughout all age groups this week. We want to raise as much money to help club development and to support all our teams.

Thomas Davis v Shane O’Neills 16 May 2017
Thomas Davis under 10’s played their first home game against Shane O’Neills at our Dorans Hill pitch on Tuesday night. From the throw in, the Thomas Davis lads took control of the game with some great long range points from Danny O’Neill, Martin McKinley, Shay Campbell & Rudi Fallone who added a few majors to the tally. Shane O’Neills battled hard throughout but were thwarted in the final third with some fine defending from Ryan Lennon, Conall Havern & Aoife Powell who turned defence into attack with some great passing moves to our midfielders. Debutant Jay McCabe didn’t look out of place with a good first touch and always first to the ball. In the second half the visitors dug deep to get some well worked scores to maintain a real competitive edge to the game throughout however the Thomas Davis lads were on top form hitting numerous scores from every angle. Jay Ferris & Shay Mallon both impressed on the night with their tackling & ability to win back possession at crucial times. In goal Luke Fegan played well with an excellent kickout. Jamie Murphy, Toni Fallone & Michela McNeill all worked their socks off in a good team performance.
In summary a great overall team performance that is improving every week, so well done to all concerned.

Thomas Davis v Ballyhegan 12 May 2017
Our U16 girls travelled to Ballyhegan tonight for a refixed league game. Playing 13 a side on the full pitch, it promised to be an open game and thats how it turned out.
Lauren Travers and Siobhan Mc Kinley started powerfully playing one two's down the field, bringing Caitlinn Mackey into play and getting the first score of the game.
As Ballyhegan tried to break out, our girls kept up relentless pressure, forcing turnover after turnover and taking some well worked scores. Caitlinn Pinnigton tackled hard, won the ball and took a great score from out on the right. Rebecca Mone and Katie Murphy applied tremendous pressure on their markers, as did Olivia Pentony. As Siobhan and Lauren won virtually every kickout in the first fifteen minutes. Alas the effort and the big pitch began to take its toll, Ballyhegan sensed tiredness and swept upfield and despite a great save from debutant Natasha Mc Cann, the ball broke to an onrushing blue jersey, who despatched the ball to the net.
The game then flipped on its head as Ballyhegan took a strangle hold and levelled up the game. Natasha engineered some clever kickouts to alleviate the pressure, using Coaimhe Mallon to great effect who in turn passed to Lauren and as she looked up, found Siobhan, who hit a sublime pass to Caitlinn Mackey. Caitlinn spun and shot to the back of the net. A simple direct move, made easier by the unselfish off the ball running of the rest of the girls.
Now our defenders stood tall. Georgia White excelled under the high ball, Marsha Kinney again blocked and harried, while Eimear Park covered so much ground. However, the girls were tiring fast, a few positional changes made a difference for a while but Ballyhegan finished out the game three points up.
At the team huddle at the end of the game, each girl was visibly exhausted, testament to their effort and endeavour, had just one unlucky bounce gone our way, we would have taken home the points. Player of the week: The whole thirteen of them, absolutely outstanding!!
