Seniors Hurling League Begins

Second of April sees the welcome return of the Armagh Senior Hurling League following an absence of a few years.

Craobh Rua begin our season with a traditional tussle, travelling to Killeavy to  play our neighbours.
The senior management and team panel  have been working hard together this last number of weeks and months and all involved with Craobh Rua want to take this opportunity to wish them all the best in this years hurling journey, Rua Abu.

Féile  Report
A severely depleted Craobh Rua team battled bravely against North Armagh, Derrynoose, Middletown and Killeavy in today’s County Shield Final. It was unfortunate that quite a few of our hurlers at this grade were forced to choose between Féile hurling  and Football Féile games as both competitions were organised for the same day. Hopefully this will not happen again.

For the Craobh Rua Féile Team there were some fantastic displays particularly from Ryan Murchan, Cavan Murtagh who scored a great goal against North Armagh, Thomas McCann and the twins Ciaran and Aaron who performed admirably in each game.

Seán  Steward gets better with each match while Joe Kenny and Eoin Garvey added experience.

Many thanks to all who helped Craobh Rua on the day and to the organisers. Comhghairdeas to all competition winners.
