Primary 5 Hurling Blitz
We were delighted to host a Primary 5 hurling blitz at Craobh Rua on Friday.Míle buíochas to our local schools for their involvement and making the effort to have all the boys prepared for the day.
Over 60 boys got exposure to hurling through a mixed Go Games Blitz and it was of note that the skills on show were of high standard.
Craobh Rua deeply appreciate the continued support of our schools. Well done also to our coaches Fiachra, Tiarnan and Ryan for their good work in ensuring the day was a success.
Special mention must go to Collie Boyle who was on the go before sunrise to make sure the grass was at the right level for our young hurlers to enjoy their experience. We hope many continue to pick up the hurl and come along on Monday nights 6:30pm at the club.

Match Report
Craobh Rua U12.5s travelled to Lurgan on Thursday night to take on Sean Traceys.
Craobh Rua started strongly and with some fine scores from Shea Loughran, Oran Campbell & Thomas McCann, raced into a healthy lead at the break.
Sean Traceys upped their performance in the 2nd half and worked their way back into the game. But some resolute defending from Aaron Lonergan, Ryan McGuinness and Fionn Elshaw helped the Camlough lads to hold on for a hard fought victory.
Well done to both teams on providing such a skilful sporting game.
