Helmet Recycling Scheme

Our club has commenced a a Hurling Helmet Restoration & Recycling Scheme. We would ask anyone with hurling or Camogie helmet that they no longer use to leave them  at our Clubrooms on any Tuesday or Thursday evenings. The scheme under the guidance of Paul Cunningham hopes to restore helmets to a safe and appropriate standard so that they can be reused. It is a worthy scheme and we urge all to support it.

Support Your Club, Support Your County.

Pupils and staff from St Pauls High School Bessbrook were in Kenya and Romania recently participating in their Schools International Projects.

Club member Ryan Shortt was in Kenya whilst our club members  Conall Burns and Clodagh Elshaw were in Romania. By all accounts it was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Our Craobh Rua Members even got the chance to encourage the locals in both Romania and Kenya to play some hurling.

Well done all involved.
