Craobh Rua Camlocha congratulates the hurlers of St Colman's College Newry on winning the Danske Bank Leopold Cup last week , defeating Portaferry by a 3-11 to 1-2 score line. We are particularly proud of our Craobh Rua members of the victorious St Colman's team Oisin O Hare and Niall Elshaw.
Coaching and Training sessions details are as follows
U12 & U14
Sunday mornings at the Gardens 3G playing pitch. The sessions start at 10.30am and finish at 11.45am. Lead Coach/Contact Laurence Bradley 07736150103
This will be a skills based session and as ever if any new players wish to come onboard there will be hurls and helmets available for use.
Under 10s (Primary 5 & 6) coaching and training sessions take place each Monday night 6:30pm - 7:30pm in The Gardens 3G pitch in Bessbrook. Lead Coach/Contact Joe McEldowney 07764193978.The next scheduled Hurling Blitz date for this age group in Dundalk is this Sunday 11th February.
Under 8s (Primary 3 & 4) takes place each Monday night 6:30pm - 7:30pm at St. Paul's Highschool Sports Hall. Lead Coach / Contact Micheál Bradley 07907219639.
Rua Ógs (Primary 1 & 2)
Our newly structured hurling nursery Rua Ógs (Primary 1 and 2) coaching continues each Monday night 6:30pm - 7:30pm at St. Paul's Highschool Gymnasium. Lead Coach/Contact Damien Britton 0770679917
Please note these sessions are £2 each for those who are not signed up cairde members.
Parents/Guardians should not hesitate to contact the appropriate Underage Team Mentors for any further information.
Registration
Membership Registration will continue to take place each in St Pauls 6-30 to 7-30 . Feel free to seek further information from Craobh Rua coaches and Coiste members in attendance. Craobh Rua Camlocha extend an invitation to all from our community who might wish to participate in and hopefully enjoy in our Clubs activities.

Celtic Challenge Hurling Competition Launch
Craobh Rua Camlocha hurler Tiarnan O Hare represented Armagh GAA at the recent Ulster GAA launch of the Bank of Ireland Celtic Challenge- a countrywide ground-breaking hurling development competition for 16 & 17yr hurlers. Oisin was proud to wear the Armagh colours at the launch.

Referees Course
The Referees Foundation course will be held on;
Thursday 8th February
Monday 12th February
at 7.30 pm in the Ceannaras at the Athletic Grounds.
All clubs are expected to have a certified referee for each age group U8-U18
PLEASE NOTE - In order to be certified as a referee AND take charge of ANY games in 2018 you must
1.) Be an existing Referee AND COMPLETE the Referees In Service course
or
2.) Complete ALL elements of the Referees Foundation Course.
