New appointments for Down

The Down County Board have made several appointments to their football and hurling teams.

The Down U21 Football management team has now Conor Deegan taking the managers role with help from Micheal Walsh, Paddy Hardy and Bernie Ruane. Conor was part of the great Down team that took the Sam Maguire back to Newry in 1991 and 1994.

Down Senior Hurling team have new manager Martin Mallon with assistance from Paul Coulter, Gary Savage and Jerome McCrickard. 

Also added on to the Down Senior Management team is Cathal Murray.
