Newry City FC officially opening their new facilitiy on the 20th April, 2009. "We are installing 3 state of the art 3G synthetic pitches that will be suitable for mini soccer tournaments or general training.
However, the club has also decided to start up an official Inter Company 5-Aside League."
The Inter Company League will start on the 30th April, 2009 and will consist of 16 teams. It will be run twice weekly between 7pm-10pm.
The cost of entering a team into the Inter Company League will be £200.00. Each team can have up to 7 squad members (£28.50 each), enabling them to have the optional use of two substitute players. Each game will last 30 minutes, and each team will play a minimum of 15 games, all facilitated with a referee provided by Newry City FC. Two games will be played each night by every team.
The outcome of each game will be updated on the club’s website each week enabling teams to track their league position and goal difference on a weekly basis.
Please note that the number of teams able to compete in the league is limited and will work on a first come, first serve basis.

These facilities are being made available to the entire business community in Newry and Mourne and we look forward to working in partnership with your office and trust you will take this unique opportunity to make use of them.

• THERE ARE THREE 5-ASIDE PITCHES
• EACH PITCH COSTS £25 PER HR DURING MAY, £35 PER HR FROM JUNE ONWARDS.
• BLOCK BOOKING (12 WEEKS OR MORE) COST £30 PER HR.
• PARTIES WISHING TO BLOCK BOOK MUST HAVE 2 WEEKS PAID IN ADVANCE AT ALL TIMES.
• BOOTS, MOULDIE STUDS/ BLADES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE PITCHES- TRAINERS OR 5 ASIDE SHOES ONLY
• CANCELATIONS MUST BE GIVEN AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OR GROUP WILL LOSE DEPOSIT.
