Write a commentSunday 29th May 2016 sees the The 2016 Newry City Marathon taking place and as well as the full marathon there will be a Fun Run as part of the days festivities.
The organisers are inviting all schools and groups within the district to get involved in this sporting event. The Fun Run is open to all ages, and is a great way for families and young people to come together.
The FUN RUN / WALK / JOG will consist of 1.5 Miles taking the following route:
The Fun Run will start on Hill Street at 10am and will take the following route: Kildare Street, Sugar Island, Merchants Quay turning left at Ballybot Bridge into Mill Street turning left onto the Mall and turning right at Courtney’s Cafe into Market Street finishing at the Newry Credit Union on Hill Street.
Cost incurred: is £3 / £10 – Family of 4
