Newry Wheelers take to their bikes for Hospice

The Newry Wheelers Annual Hospice Charity Cycle takes place this Sunday the 15th of March and there are two routes to choose from, a 50 mile cycle or a shorter 35 mile one.

The Sportive begins this Sunday at 9.30am sharp from outside Newry Sports Centre.

Route 1: 35 Miles

Newry – Warrenpoint – Rostrevor – Yellow Water – Hilltown – Rathfriland – Newry

Route 2: 50 Miles

Newry – Warrenpoint – Rostrevor – Yellow Water – Hilltown – Rathfriland – Loughbrickland, Scarva – Newry.

There will be a minimum donation of £15 with all proceeds going to Southern Area Hospice.  Pre entry is now available online via http://www.entrycentral.com/newrywheelers-sportive for £12 including entry into raffle for some excellent spot prizes.

Changing and showering facilities will be available for participants in Newry Sports Centre and light refreshments will be provided before and after the cycle with a pitstop in Rathfriland Community Centre along the way.

Mechanical support will be provided by Bridgend Bikes on the day.
