Junior Championship – 25th Anniversary

Back in 1994 our senior men won the Armagh Junior Championship – it’s hard to believe that was 25 years ago. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the win the club is holding a night on Saturday 7th December. All the ’94 squad have been invited to come along to look back on their achievement. It promises to be a great night and everyone, including players families, anyone involved with the team that year and everyone involved with the Shane’s club (past and present), is invited to come along and join in the craic.

Congratulations to our senior footballer Paul O’Rourke who picked a County All-Star Award on Saturday night. Paul had a great year in the Shane’s jersey and deservedly picked up the Man of the Match trophy in the Intermediate Championship final. His All-Star award is just reward for a top class footballer....maith thú Paul.

Quiz Champions

Well done the Shane O’Neill’s quiz team who the annual Emmett Byrne Memorial Quiz in Doyle’s on Friday. The Shane’s went into the quiz as defending champions and after a tough eight rounds of questions they retained the trophy, deafeating their closest opponents by just a single point.

Last week’s winning lotto numbers were 3, 6, 9 & 32. There were no jackpot winners and 1 x lucky dip winner. The jackpot no stands at an impressive £4,950.
