The Story that just Keeps On Running!

Relay Runners were back at St Colman's All Weather Track in Newry last night, a year to the day the Keep On Running Team not just broke but demolished the Guinness World Record for the Greatest Distance run by a Relay Team. The incredible distance of 3,504.28 Miles still stands.

This time it was just for fun though and the imaginatively billed 356days L8R saw dozens of runners six lanes at a time take to the track once again.

Seasoned runners took part along with well known faces including Conor Murphy MP and Eddie Curtis and Noel Pepper from Newry and Mourne Council as well as Marathon legend Willie McCracken.

A display cabinet was unveiled on the night at the St Colman's Track Pavilion with assorted memorabilia from the successful bid of a year ago.
