Last night a packed audience in the auditorium at the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre in Newry were treated to a refreshing blend of music from three fine singer songwriters including Hilltown’s own Matt McGinn!

Matt celebrating his son’s first birthday was joined in the round by Gareth Dunlop and Ohio native Kim Richey. Matt entertained the audience with many of his back catalogue including Please Lie and We’re Fine - Most of the time as well as the newer Latter Day Sinner single.

Twenty five year old Gareth hails from Holywood and already his songs have been used in American television comedy Cougar Town and many more series.
Two time Grammy nominated singer Kim entertained with her beautiful distinct voice, singing several of her own songs including the thoughtful Thorn in My Heart from her album of the same name as well as a spine tingling version of Kris Kristofferson’s Sunday Morning Coming Down

Gareth and Kim have collaborated on many songs and both sang from their Nashville Sessions EP including the mellow Keep Coming Back and the upbeat One and The Same.
