This year local fundraising organisation Caring Coins are using their Easter event to close one appeal and launch their second appeal of the year. For the last 2 months they have been running a "Clear Out To Help Out" appeal to raise money for 2 very brave little heros Bobby Browne and Fight for Alfie.
This Saturday 8 April from 12pm - 4pm they are hosting an Easter at Carrickcruppen GAA with free face painting, Easter egg hunt, ice cream, arts, crafts, music and event the Easter Bunny will make an appearance. This is their second appeal of the year and the most important appeal they have ever launched, which is for a stem cell match for Bessbrook boy Bobby Browne who has been diagnosed with leukaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. They will have the opportunity for you to sign up at DKMS and hopefully swab kits on the day provided by the amazing team at Eimears Wish .
As much as the aim of this event is to keep children entertained in a safe and enjoyable environment, while also raising monies needed to directly support families, through the guidance of our partnerships, who are living in poverty in our area. We hope to always keep this as an affordale event for everyone.
