Carlingford Ferry has announced that from next Monday 28 September that their Autumn Winter service will run at weekends only with additional sailings during the Halloween and Christmas holiday periods.
A spokesperson for Carlingford Ferry said "We deeply regret the disruption this will cause to you, our valued customers and we assure you that every effort was made to avoid this change to our service. Current traffic levels are not sufficient to support a winter weekday service, especially with ongoing COVID-19 and Brexit uncertainities. We hope to be in a position to revisit this change at some point in the future."
The Scenic Carlingford Ferry began sailing between Greenore and Greencastle in 2017.
