Changes to Train times from Belfast

Translink NI Railways has announced a number of timetable changes which come into effect from Sunday 8 December.

There will no longer be a Monday to Friday 18.21 service from Great Victoria Street to Newry. It will now terminate at Portadown.

Replacing this is a 18.41 train will run express to Lisburn, then operate all stops to Newry.

The Monday to Friday 22.11pm train from Great Victoria Street to Newry is still running but on Saturday nights it will terminate at Lisburn and there is a later Saturday 10.35pm from Great Victoria Street to Newry getting in at 23.34.

Last year, NI Railways carried 15.8million passenger journeys, an increase of 5.6% on the previous year and the highest in its 50-year history.
