Write a commentNewry Cancer Research fundraising committee is to play host to a charity walk for the 4th year running.
The walk will take place this Sunday 18th May, starting at 2:00pm, in the beautiful setting of Slieve Gullion Forest Park. Participants will be asked to make a minimum donation of £10.00 – children free. There will be the option of a 2 mile or 6 mile walk depending on your preference.
Everyone is welcome and participants can just turn up on the afternoon. Please spread the word to encourage as many family, friends and work colleagues to come along and put an active start to your day by support a worthwhile charity that has affects the lives of so many in this area.
All proceeds will be donated to the Northern Ireland research groups at Queens University and Clinical Cancer Centre at the Belfast City Hospital who continually work tirelessly to “BEAT CANCER”.
