Write a commentAs part of the Newry 2020 campaign to help get Newry City the 15 Acre, Albert Basin City Park that it so rightfully deserves the Albert Basin Park Project are holding a Christmas Pub Quiz on Thursday 29th of December in the Irish National Foresters, Newry.
There will be a raffle with plenty of prizes and a Newry round to get the grey matter working again after the Christmas celebrations.
Newry 2020 chairperson, Brian Cleland, said "We'd like to thank everyone who supported the Albert Basin Park project in 2016. At the beginning of this year we had 2,000 petition signatures - we now have over 5,000 - as well as endorsements from over 50 local schools, GP practices and community organisations. We've lots of exciting things planned for the new year, and we're looking forward to catching up with all our friends and supporters at the Christmas Pub Quiz."
