Speaking on the development the chairperson of Derrybeg Community Association, Stephen Murney, explained "This scheme ensures that breastfeeding is welcome in all meeting rooms and public areas in Derrybeg Community Centre.
"Breastfeeding mums will not be asked to move or stop breastfeeding and members of the association are aware and are supportive of the needs of breastfeeding mums.
"Our poster and certificate, confirming our participation in the scheme, are now proudly on display in the community centre."
The community worker added "We are delighted to be part of this initative which aims to facilitate greater acceptance and promotion of breastfeeding in commercial and community settings."
