DUP leader Arlene Foster today visited Our Lady's Grammar School in Newry as part of her pledge to engage with people who "genuinely love the Irish language"
Our Lady's had invited the MLA after hearing of her wish to engage with people from the Irish Language community.
The former First Minister met school principal Fiona McAlinden and other members of staff and engaged with pupils who spoke of their experiences and passion for the Irish Language.
The visit lasted around two hours and Mrs Foster was presented with a framed Celtic painting inscribed Ní Neart Go Cur le Chéile - Together we are strong.
