Taking place on Saturday 30th November in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry. The event will see guests arrive to a champagne reception, followed by a 3-course meal, raffle and entertainment by the fantastic ‘The Professionals’ all-in aid of PIPS Hope and Support.
Main organiser, Sacha Donnelly at the launch spoke of her reasoning behind delivering the event. “As a final year events student, I wanted to bring an event to the Newry area and raise vital awareness and funds for PIPS Hope and Support. PIPS Hope and Support are a fantastic charity in the local area, providing a resource and support for the most vulnerable in our society and I want to do my bit to help them achieve their mission.”
Sacha continued “This Winter Gala Ball is also being used by individuals and groups as an alternative Christmas Party Night and I am delighted they have selected this event to attend all in the name of charity. Guests in attendance will have the ultimate evening and be catered for exceptionally. On the night, they will arrive to a champagne reception, followed by a delicious 3-course meal, a raffle with fantastic prizes all of which have been donated by local businesses and short speeches by our guest speakers, all followed an evening of dance. I am really looking forward to the event and would be delighted to see as many individuals and groups attend. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those to date who have bought tickets, tables or donated prizes to the raffle.”
Padraig Harte, Fundraising Coordinator for PIPS Hope and Support thanked Sacha for delivering this initiative. “PIPS Hope and Support take this opportunity to thank Sacha for her hard work, determination and commitment in bringing this event in aid of our charity. Without the support of the Sacha, the local community and businesses, PIPS Hope and Support simply couldn't deliver the much-needed help and support services we provide to our community. We are delighted that there are many individuals and groups attending and look forward to having them all in attendance on the night to raise the fundamental awareness and funds for our local suicide prevention charity.”
