Tomorrow Friday 19th you can join Santa on a Currach for a magical trip on the water around the Albert Basin. The event takes place from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and it's completely FREE!
The event is organised by Carlingford Lough Currach Club in conjunction with Newry & Mourne District Council with the aim of promoting the waterways of Newry City.
Santa will take children and adults up the Albert Basin under the two bridges and up as far as Ballybot Bridge.
The currach boats will be fully lit up with LED laterns etc.
Starting point for currach boat rides will be at the pontoons opposite the Quays Shopping Centre.
