Write a commentSouthern Area Hospice Services is celebrating 30 years of local Hospice care this year and so are encouraging local people to host a coffee morning in celebration and to raise vital funds to help maintain their services. This year the Southern Area Hospice must raise £2.6 million to continue to care for people within the local community with life limiting illnesses such as; cancer, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.
The Hospice is aiming to make their coffee morning campaign bigger than ever with the aim of raising £55,000. A coffee morning can simply be a few friends meeting for coffee and a chat or in a workplace, school or local club, no coffee morning is too big or too small but every penny counts. This year’s official coffee morning is on Thursday 12th September with the Hospice encouraging supporters to host one whenever possible.
