Write a commentThe Magnet Centre in Newry together with Youth Action NI hosted the 10th annual Newry heat for the Irish Youth Music Awards last week. There was no shortage of talent on stage but only two could be selected on the night to represent the area at the IYMA Final in April.
An original song called Broken Promises sang by Singer Songwriter Jessica James,13 from Bessbrook was selected as the representing song.
Singer Songwriter and accomplished Pianist, Daragh McSloy from Hilltown was also selected as the representing Act.
The pair will be showcasing the Newry area at the Final on 21 April at Croke Park, Dublin.
