Newry Pride and the Integrated Education Fund are holding a tenx9 storytelling event at Bellini's in Newry on Friday 21 August at 7.30pm, and organisers are calling for people willing to share their own true-life stories.
Tenx9 is an event where nine people are each given up to ten minutes to tell a true-life story linked to a set theme, which this time round is "Belonging".
Storytellers are invited to link their story to Pride, to Integrated Education or to their own personal interpretation of the theme. Participants can read from a page in front of them on the night, so do not need to be experienced public speakers.
Those interested in submitting a story are asked to contact Paul Doran by emailing tenx9belfast@gmail.com or by submitting their story through the tenx9 website at www.tenx9.com
tenx9 events are always free to attend and everyone is welcome.
