Well known Camlough man Niall McGinn is playing his part in helping to raise funds for the Southern Area Hospice with several events coming up this week.
Niall an employee of Norbrook Labaroties Ltd is recognised for his involvement over the years for raising much needed monies for various charities such as Cuan Mhuire (Sr Consilios) and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) explained,
“Norbrook is recognising it’s 50th year in business and have launched a 50 for 50 employee fundraising campaign. Through employee fundraising events Norbrook aim to raise £50k which will be matched by an equivalent donation from the Company”
Niall continued “ I along with other employees in Norbrook will be organising a range of fund raising events. This Saturday 1st December myself, colleagues and friends will be holding a “bucket collection” in Camlough village.
Mr McGinn will also will be “managing” the Hospice Charity Shop In Monaghan Street Newry Saturday 1 December as part of the hospice's The Apprentice competition.
On Thursday night 29 November there will be a Quiz in Doyles Camlough with Quiz Master Peter Lynch with the “throw in” at 9pm.
Niall concluded “The Hospice provides all services free of charge to patients across the Southern Trust area including Dungannon, Armagh, Craigavon, Banbridge, Newry and Mourne. They also provide ongoing support for the families and friends of patients in their time of need.
"It is a worthy Charity and I know most understand and appreciate the efforts of those who take time out to raise funds for all Charities.
