Write a commentSlieve Gullion District Electoral Area (DEA) Forum, in partnership with the Education Authority and Newtownhamilton High School, hosted a Culture Night in Newtownhamilton High School on Wednesday 13 December.
Over 30 young people from various community backgrounds came together to take part in a range of cultural activities including games, drumming, music and dance workshops. The event was one of many good relations programmes that have been delivered by the DEA in partnership with the Education Authority throughout the year. These programmes aim to provide an opportunity for young people from various cultural backgrounds to get together and take part in a range of joint activities including arts, sports, music, dance and trips.
Other good relations programmes have been delivered throughout the year in Bessbrook, Jonesborourgh, Cloughreagh and Crossmaglen.
