PIPS Newry and Mourne are launching their CD ‘New Day on Thursday 5th of December at 8.30pm in Belinis, Newry.
The CD features 21 local bands/artists, ranging from established bands like Cold Porter, Bluez Katz, and Backbone Blues, through to new bands/artists like Soulshine Blue,I am Jack, Pete Keighery, Stephanie Boyle, and the brilliant Replica.
Judith Murphy, fundraiser at PIPS, said ‘We at PIPS, are amazed at the wealth of musical talent in this local area. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every band member/artist, for donating their time and talent to help PIPS. PIPS is a local charity, which provides invaluable support, advice, and training, within this local community. We would also like to thank Peter Mac Anulty, owner of The Jamming Factory, for his support in turning this from a dream into a reality.’
This launch party will last from 8.30pm – 1.30am, when many of the bands/artists will be playing live, so it promises to be a great evening.

Belinis will also be having drinks promotions, and free baskets of food at the launch.
Entry is by donation at the door, and ‘New Day’ costs £10. Only a limited number of CDs are available so buy early to avoid disappointment.
