Newry BID hosted many 'Summer in the City' events last year and this summer they are back with something for everyone to help brighten up those summer days whether the sun is 'splitting the trees' or it's 'lashing out of the Heavens'.
BID will be hosting free fun activities and live entertainment every Saturday and Sunday in July and August, right here in Newry City centre.
From live music in cafés, to laser tag for kids, and paddle-boarding on the canal - it promises to be a fun Newry summer.
Up-and-coming superstar Niamh Noade, 'The Girl With The Harp' will be performing as part of the programme. Niamh just recently auditioned on The Voice Kids UK and had 3 judges turn around!
