As a result of recent incidents of Coronavirus in Italy, Pupils of St Mark's High School in Warrenpoint who returned home from a school ski trip in the country earlier this month have been advised to "self isolate" as a precautionary measure by the Public Health Authority.

The pupils returned home from Italy on 15 February and they have been advised to remain at home until Sunday 1 March.
The Advisory notice tells the pupils to remain at home and NOT attend school, avoid public areas and public transport, do not attend part time employment and avoid having visitors to their home.
It also adds if at any stage they develop flu like symptoms to phone their GP or ring 112. (They are NOT to go to hospital or GP Surgery.
To date there have been no confirmed cases of Coronavirus on the island of Ireland.
