Fiddlers Green Festival just gets better and better each year. From its beginnings as a one day event in the 1980’s it now encompasses music and culture, a walking festival, mind and body events in tune with nature, childrens events and much much more. In 2023 the organising committee have indeed excelled.
This years festival runs from Wednesday 26 July to Sunday 30 July and nine musical gigs, the highlights include Luka Bloom on 28 July, Niall McCabe 29 July and Dervish 30 July. This year they have expanded their walking offering with walks for all ages and abilities. From Dan Whites Dander to the CS Lewis Walk to the Rainbow Walk it's your chance to get out and up into the hills and take in the beauty of Rostrevor and the Mourne Mountains.
An 'In Tune with Nature' section will see a week of art and photographic exhibitions, music, workshops, classes, walks, talks, discussions, film, relaxation and exercise for mind and body. The Children's Festival will see a full range of events for families and kids all around the village.
