Mayobridge singer Naomi Gribben will help represent Ireland at this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta. The 13-year-old will perform alongside Caleb Kirwan after judges could not separate the pair in the TG4 final earlier this evening.
Naomi, from Mayobridge, and 14-year-old Caleb, from Leopardstown, were the two singers left standing at the end of the show on Sunday 4 October. The judges were unable to choose one over the other, so they decided that both would go to the contest, which takes place on 24 October.
Naomi gets her singing talent from her nanny and grandad, a gift she shares with all her cousins. Away from music, she enjoys ice skating with friends, acting and shopping, although only if she can spend her mum's money.
She is no stranger to the stage. In 2025, she was the only singer from Ireland and the UK to reach the finals of the Tour Music Fest in San Marino, and she hopes more stages will follow. Her main passion is using her voice to help others. Last year she busked in her local town and gave all the money raised to support local people living with cancer. She is a pupil of Flynn Performing Arts based in Newry.
Caleb has loved performing from a very young age and enjoys singing, dancing and acting. He has trained in all three since he was six and currently studies at Steptacular Performing Arts School in Dublin.
He has played a number of principal roles, most recently Lumière in Beauty and the Beast, Buttons in Cinderella, Peter in Mary Poppins and Jamie in Everybody's Talking About Jamie. Caleb is also part of the Elite dance team and recently finished 4th overall in the boys hip-hop category at the Dance World Cup.
The pair will perform their song "Níos Láidre" at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest finals in Ta' Qali, Attard, Malta. Viewers can watch on TG4 on 24 October, when the show starts at 8pm.
