Omeath are hosting a Summer Splash festival in August. The event from 15-19 August is sure to bring lots of life to the village with events planned for all the family. Run by Omeath Tidy Towns in conjunction with Louth County Council it kicks off on the 15th August with a day packed full of events.
On 15 August at 6pm there will be a preschoolers “Picnic in the Park” with Moo Music North East including interactive music and an appearance from Maggie Moo taking place in the green area opposite Granvue Hotel. At 6.45pm in the same place thery'll be Junk Modelling/ Arts & Crafts for kids of all agesas well as a bit of face Painting.
From 7.30pm it's time for a “Session at the Shore” where you can enjoy a few drinks by the shore accompanied by live music from some of Omeath’s best local musicians. Lastly at 10pm finishing the night off watching the annual Warrenpoint Fireworks Display.
Another event announced is the Summer Splash Colour Run on Friday 18 August sponsored by Barbershop Omeath. Bring the whole family along for this feast of colour and fun beginning 7pm ( Registration from 6pm) at St. Jude’s Shrine and finishing at Front Shore, Omeath (Approx 2km)
