Write a commentThe annual awards ceremony for the ‘Community Safety Youth Competition’ was held on Tuesday 2nd March in Bellinis. Each student designed and created a story board based on topics. There were over 800 entries from Newry & Mourne and and 7 students from Newry High School were selected.
They were scored on creativity, the impact of the message in the story and the ability for the storyboard to be adapted to a short film. All the students and their parents were invited to the awards ceremony and were presented with their prizes by Mr Julian Simmons from UTV.
