Craobh Rua Notes 4 June 2018

Senior Team

Craobh Rua seniors recorded a victory over Truagh Gael’s last week in the Monaghan league but fell to Cuchullains in the Paddy Mccormack Shield semi final. The rather hectic programme for our senior panel continues with games this Tuesday night away to Clontibret, whilst we host Carrickmacross at our founds on Thursday night. We deeply appreciate the efforts of all our panel members, management and back room team.

Rua Ógs/U8/U10

Coaching /Training continues on our own club pitch on Monday nights   6:30 - 7:30 .

U16

U16: Our last run out before the exam break saw our young hurlers  head to the Ards Peninsula to play  Ballygalget on Sunday. A perfect morning for hurling and first class facilities ensured a top class game with a high level of skill on show.

Craobh Rua had the upper hand on their opponents on this visit and ran out victors 6-18 to 2-07. Our Under 16 team now take a break for exams but on our return we have Armagh league as well as Down League resuming. We will be running of our club U16 Poc Fada on Monday night 4th June @ 7pm.
