Newry Wheelers launch their Hospice Cycle

Sunday the 16th of March has been named as this years date for the Haldane Fisher Newry Wheelers Annual Hospice Cycle.

Now in its 3rd year the popular event has top quality signage, marshalling (motorbikes and static), mechanical back up provided by Bridge End Cycles, lead cars, a Broom wagon and top quality catering at the stop at Rathfriland.  

The cycle will start at Newry Sports Centre, Patrick Street, Newry and the route will take in some of the most beautiful scenic and coastal routes of the Mournes.  

There will be a choice of a 35 or 50 mile route on the day and both routes will return to the Sports Centre where there will be refreshments for all.  People of ALL abilities are welcome.  

Registration will take place on the day from 8.30am and Cycle commences at 9.30am. All proceeds are in aid of the Southern Area Hospice.
