This is a batch probably from a Newry Show Dinner about 1983 - but I'm not certain. There certainly is quite a few Newry people in them anyway so I don't think I am far out!
Also photographs from a Poyntzpass Vintage Rally in the Village at the same time with plenty of familiar faces. Mind you I see a certain Fireman I certainly wouldn't let near our house if it was burning!!!

I think they were taken in the grounds of the Abbey School on Courtenay Hill.

These photographs were taken around 1985 I think. There may be a couple of different venues covered as the film seems to be mixed up a bit. Some of them may have been taken at a South Armagh Festival as there seem to be a few festival queens in a couple of the photos.
Some trophies present as well but I have no idea of what they are for!

Here's a batch again from mid 1980's with what looks like a wedding Anniversary, a Darts presentation but not sure which bar, Photos of a cycle in Rostrevor, Playing music on the roof of the Arts Centre and a Newry town football game.
My memory doesn't help with any of these so if any of you know whats what let me know.

These photographs are from 1983 and consist of a St Catherines Band Banquet night at destination unknown and probably another night out at a different venue. A couple of photographs of the Church of Ireland and a visit from Dana and a couple of pictures from the newly opened Roxy Heel Bar!

This is a bit of a mix of photographs from around 1983. I think most of them were taken in the Arts Centre. Definitely there are a couple from a Newry Art Society Exhibition and various School represented in another event. Also a couple of farming photos thrown in, taken around Mountnorris in all probability. Sure we aim to provide variety.
The main batch have posters in the background advertising Ceol Cinn Tra Folk Club based in the Arts Centre and the concert mentioned is the Sands Family, Dick Gaughan and Dessie Wilkinson so certainly a great night would have been had and all for the bargain admission price of £3.
Whether the photographs were taken on that night or not, in a court of law I couldn't confirm or deny!

These batch of photographs are from the mid 1980's. Quite a few of them are taken in the Arts Centre with the Sands Family centre stage, though not sure if this is the same concert mentioned in the last photographs put up.
Also some others are from a Newry bar, maybe the Hermitage but I'm only guessing. The batch ends with a couple from SAFE in Camlough.
