Mayobridge singer Naomi Gribben will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 alongside Dublin’s Caleb Kirwan. In an unprecedented move the judges of TG4’s Junior Eurovision chose both finalists in the final broadcast on Sunday 4 October, rather than picking a single winner. The pair will travel to Malta this Saturday 17 October ahead of the contest on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Naomi and Caleb entered the competition as solo artists, each hoping to win the chance to represent Ireland. Both reached the final two, and the judges then decided to send them together instead of choosing between them.

Naomi a former pupil of St Patrick's PS, Mayobridge who is currently at Our Lady's Grammar School is also a student at Flynn Performing Arts .

She has developed her singing through performances at home and internationally appearing in Our Lady's production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Bosco's amazing Seussical the Musical.

In 2025 she became the only singer from Ireland and the UK to reach the final of the Tour Music Fest in San Marino. She has also used her singing to support many charitable causes in her local community.

Caleb has developed his talents in singing, dancing and acting from a young age and has experience in musical theatre and live performance. The pairing brings together two performers from different parts of the island of Ireland.

Both had auditioned for Junior Eurovision in previous years and neither made it through to the studio stage. Rather than giving up, they returned to audition again this year, and this time they progressed all the way to the final.

They will perform “Níos Láidre (Stronger)” as Ireland’s representatives in front of an international audience. The song celebrates friendship, resilience and the strength that comes from supporting one another, a message that reflects the pair’s own journey from rival soloists to a duo.
