Police in Newry are investigating the theft of a white DAF lorry and trailer from a yard in the Chancellor's Road area on Saturday 27th April. It is believed the lorry and trailer were taken at around 4am.
The lorry was later recovered in the Old Dublin Road area but the trailer and contents remain missing. Police believe two males were in the area at the time of the theft. One of the males was wearing dark trousers and top and the second, light coloured trousers and dark top.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of a serious assault in the Monaghan Street area in the early hours of Monday 6th May. It was reported that at around 1.30am a man was approached by an unknown male and struck in the face.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at convent premises in the High Street area in the early hours of Wednesday 8th May. It is believed access was gained to the premises at around 3am and a number of industrial washing machines and tumble driers taken.

Police in Newry are keen to locate the owner of crockery which they believe was stolen, possibly during a burglary in the Foughill Road area.
The crockery is mainly made up of small saucers and bowls including: one Wedgewood china "Wild Strawberry", two Aynsley china "Pembrook", one Ainsley china "Cottage Garden", sixteen Royal Albert "Old Country Roses", thirteen Alfred Meakin "The Post House" and two Cottage Rose china.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at car sales premises on Patrick Street.
Some time between 7pm on Wednesday, 29 May and 9am on Thursday, 30 May, entry was gained to the premises and two wing mirrors taken from a BMW X5.

Police in Newry are keen to trace the owner of a quantity of jewellery.
The jewellery was passed to police after it was anonymously deposited at a local church. The jewellery includes five rings, a locket and an engraved bracelet.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on Dublin Road.
Around 11am on Thursday, 30 May, nine bails of hay fell from a lorry, damaging a car travelling behind.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of a trailer and straw.
The trailer, which contained straw, was parked at Sheepsbridge Inn on Thursday morning, 30 May. The driver returned at 8pm to collect the trailer and discovered it had been taken.
The empty trailer was later recovered across the border.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident at Windsor Manor.
Around 11.55pm on Tuesday, 4 June, three masked males approached a house and attempted to force entry through the front door. One of the males had a claw hammer in his possession. A window was also smashed before the males made off in a car.
A 42 year old man was later arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon. He was released on bail pending further enquiries.
