The facilities at the club are brilliant with one of the best pitches in the Irish League. Since being with Newry City FC I’ve gained more experience playing at a higher level with Warrenpoint Town and Portadown and now the club is going in the right direction and I want to be part of that and get that one more promotion to get into the Premier League. Whether that happens next season or after that, we will work hard to get there. All being well I’ll finish my career at Newry in the Premiership.”

Once we knew he was available we moved quickly and are delighted to have him back at his hometown club. Moving up to The Championship will be a lot tougher for us but having players of Rambo’s ability will only strengthen us. I’m sure the fans will be delighted as are the current players who he knows well.
