Newry based Special Olympics Club Saddle and Reins are raising funds to help support two of their athletes Maeve Robb, 13 and Dearbhail Savage, 14 who have been picked to represent Ulster at the Special Olympics Ireland games in Limerick in June.
Earlier this year the pair both won two Gold Medals at the Special Olympics, Regional Advancement Equestrian Competition in Coleraine which helped them qualify for Limerick.
They have organised a Bag Pack in Supervalu, Hill Street, Newry on Saturday the 25th of January and a Quiz will take place on Thursday the Third of April in the Canal Court Hotel.
Saddle and Reins have athletes from age 7 to over 60 with varied disabilities and are always open to new members.
