Ciara Coffey took part in the popular ‘Washing Bay Green Run’ Half Marathon on Saturday morning.
The weather was not favourable with wind, sleet and rain but Ciara put the head down and with her usual grit and determination (and smiling) completed the hilly course in 1:28.22. This was 5 seconds shy of her HM PB and Ciara finished in 31st place and 5th Female out of a field of 117 Runners. Well done Ciara.
British Mountain Running U17s Training Camp, Sedburgh, England.
Meadow McCauley travelled over to Sedburgh in the Lake District with the NIMRA Junior Squad at the weekend.
They took part in practical and technical training with the squads from England and Wales.
All very beneficial for the incoming mountain running season.
