Write a commentWhat is it with people! If they aren't moaning about the Credit Crunch and all the doom and gloom and even more doom they are moaning about Climate Change and Global Warming.
Can people not be like me and just get on with their lives with a lightness of step and a smile on their face. What did anyone moan about before all this carry on - no shoes for their feet or no food on the table now that was a proper moan.
Why do people (apart from me obviously) get up on their high horse so much where the environment is concerned? Good grief it's a sad world when someone gives their opinion on Climate change and they are immediately made an outcast and ridiculed from all sides. Freedom of speech indeed. It is some state of affairs that when you declare that you are not convinced by the man made global warming argument it's almost the equivalent of standing on the roof of Newry Town Hall proclaiming you are a Paedophile.
Poor poor wee Sammy Wilson God love him. It just seems to be open season for his critics. From Naturism to No Tax on his bike to the climate change article he's had it all. It's all so uncanny, it seems we both have so much in common, maybe we were seperated at birth. Yes I have bared all on a foreign Beach (what a sight) and yes my Motorbike isn't taxed at the minute and incredibly yes I do think that this Climate Change carry on is turning into a bit of a witch hunt frenzy.
Don't get me wrong, Mr and Mrs Nark fully support the idea of reducing your waste/ energy consumption, reusing our old socks etc and recycling as many ideas from other peoples websites as we can but methinks the powers that be seek to put the blame/ pressure on us individuals while it is Industry and the worlds war machines that release by far the most toxic substances into the air.
It's not beyond the realms of possibility if we got these emissions and CO2 levels sorted that the earth would just continue to warm up anyway despite us, after all I really don't think the Ice Age was our fault?
Anyway enough moaning, I better turn this computer off before we all perish...
