Oh dear!- The Newry to Liverpool boat could be a bit late!

INTERRUPTED STEAMPACKET SAILINGS
The Dundalk and Newry Steampacket Company's ss Dundalk collided with a Dublin steamer on Sunday morning while entering Liverpool on her journey from Dundalk and sustained damage - principally to the bridge - which necessitates lying up for repairs. There was a heavy fog at the time, and the Dublin boat was also injured, but fortunately all the men escaped.

As a consequence the Steampacket's Ardrossan sailings has been temporarily suspended, and the ss Iveagh will run between Dundalk and Liverpool, and the ss Iveagh between Newry and Liverpool.
