Police in Newry have arrested three females following shoplifting incidents in supermarket premises on Armagh Road.
Officers on patrol in the area were alerted to shoplifting by security staff on Monday afternoon, 11 November.
Three females, aged 20, 22 and 30 years old, were arrested on suspicion of theft at the premises on 11 November and 21 October.
All three were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Newry Neighbourhood Policing Team are reminding motorists on School Road, Lurganare to SLOW DOWN.
The Neighbourhood Team have conducted patrols in the area close to Glen and Barr Playgroup and have observed driving and parking patterns which have the potential to result in serious injury for the young children and other road users who frequent School Road.
Sergeant Kenny Gracey. Newry NPT, explained: "This is a busy area at drop off and pick up times and some motorists are not amending their driving to the conditions. We have seen some motorists parking close to the verge meaning that children have to get out of the driver's side and on to the road. School Road is a narrow, country road and the playgroup is situated just after a blind summit. Many motorists are not adjusting their speed to take cognisance of the fact that they cannot see what is over the summit.
"We have spoken to a number of motorists in the area and given advice on safe driving and parking. We will also be taking part in a multi-agency meeting to find a long term solution to these problems. We are also working with the playgroup to enhance awareness of the issues and have presented the group with high vis vests for both teachers and children so that they will be seen easily on the roads coming into the darker mornings.
"We do not want to see anyone hurt and we do not want to have to penalise parents who are dropping their kids off so we are asking everyone to work with us to make the area safer. Speak to your children about road safety and make sure your driving and parking are not endangering them. Please slow down on the roads and adjust your driving according to the area, weather conditions and light conditions."

E District's Crime Prevention Officers are advising householders to 'Lighten Up'.
Crime Prevention Officer for Armagh and Newry, Paula Crowe, has relaunched the Lighten Up anti-burglary campaign with the winter months upon us.
Paula explained: "This campaign is about empowering householders to take steps which will lessen their chance of becoming a victim of burglary.
"The message is simple - Leave a light on and keep your home safe and secure. When a house looks occupied it is less likely to be targeted by thieves and burglars.
Other suggestions include:
You can use timer switches to turn lights on when you are out.
Save energy and money with low energy dusk to dawn sensor light bulbs.
Lock windows and doors and keep gates well secured.
Invest in external lighting.

Police in Newry have arrested two men and a woman following an incident in the Edward Street area on Friday evening last (15th)
A passing police patrol discovered a badly injured man in Edward Steeet at around 6.30pm. It was initially unclear how the man had come to sustain his injuries, however officers conducted an immediate search of the area and arrested two men, both aged 29, in a nearby flat, who were attempting to clean evidence of blood from themselves.
A 33 year old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault on police and then charged to appear at Newry MC this morning ( Saturday 16th November ).
Both men remain in custody helping police with their enquiries.
The injured man, who is in his 30's, was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries to his face, head and body.

Newry man Peter Quigley has not been seen since the end of September and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his whereabouts.
Thirty one year old Peter was reported missing on Thursday 7th November.
Peter is described as being 5'8" tall, of medium build with dirty fair hair and blue coloured eyes.
Peter speaks with a strong London accent.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage in Ardfreelin.
Some time overnight between Wednesday, 6 November and Thursday, 7 November a grey Volkswagen Jetta was damaged. Damage was caused to the boot and rear offside quarter panel.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a robbery in Aughrim Road, Kilkeel.
Around 8pm on Friday, 15 November, two masked men entered a house and assaulted the 58 year old male occupant. The males proceeded to search the house and made off with £5 cash. It is believed they may have left the area in a vehicle.
The occupant sustained bruising to his face and a cut to his head.
The first male is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of medium build and was wearing dark coloured gloves. The second male is described as being 5ft 9in to 6ft tall and of medium build.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of the theft from a van which had been parked in the Damolly Retail Park on Thursday 14th November. Sometime between 3pm & 3.30pm the red coloured van was broken into and an amount of carpentry tools taken.

Police in Newry are investigating a number of incidents which occurred on the evening of Sunday 29th November in which parked vehicles were broken into. Between 5.20pm & 5.40pm a blue Ford Mondeo which was parked on Monaghan Street had the front passenger window smashed and entry gained. Nothing is believed to have been taken. At around the same time a black Vauxhall Corsa van had a window smashed at a car park at Bagnalls Retail Park and an Ipad stolen. A third vehicle, a white Citroen van, was broken into at a car park at a sports centre in Patrick Street between 5.40pm & 7pm. Again, a search of the vehicle was carried out by the culprit but nothing is reported to have been taken.
Police are also appealing for information following the report of criminal damage to a car in the Merchant's Quay area in the early hours of Sunday 24th November. It is believed that at sometime between midnight and 1am the rear passenger side window of a parked blue Toyota Yaris was smashed.
