Some time during the early hours of Sunday, 6 October, entry was gained to a house in Belmont Crescent, Newry.
A number of windows were broken and the house was ransacked and left in disarray.
Police believe that the intruder would have made a lot of noise during the course of this incident and are appealing to anyone who heard or noticed anything untoward in the area to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000. Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at a property in the Savages Terrace area on Wednesday 9th October. Entry was gained to the property sometime between 8pm on Tuesday 8th and 7am on Wednesday 9th October and a number of laptop computers taken.
Police are also appealing for information on an incident which occurred in the Church Street area of Newry on the evening of Wednesday 9th October. It was reported that at around 8.40pm entry was forced to the rear of the home of an elderly couple as they sat in the front living room. It is believed that the couple disturbed the culprits who then made off from the house on foot. Nothing is believed to have been taken from the property. A number of men were seen getting into a car which was parked in Cowan Street nearby. Police would be keen to speak to these men and also a man that had been in the area selling potatoes door to door.
Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of the theft of a tractor from a property in the Turmore Road area of Newry on Thursday 10th October. It is believed the red International 684 tractor which had white wheels and a cream coloured roof was taken sometime between Tuesday 8th & Thursday 10th October. The tractor was reported to have had a bale lifter fitted on the rear when it was taken.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at commercial premises in Monaghan Street in the early hours of Thursday 19th September. It is believed that entry was gained to the premises between 5 & 6am. A sum of cash was taken along with a number of watches and a wedding/engagement ring set. The rings are both platinum with the engagement ring bearing 3 white diamonds and the wedding band set with small white diamonds all the way around the ring. Police would ask that anyone who may have been offered any of these items or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact them.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of a vehicle from Belfast Road.
Some time between 9am and 6.45pm on Friday, 18 October, a black Toyota 4x4 Hilux Invincible was taken from the park and ride, close to Sheepsbridge Inn, on Belfast Road. The registration of the vehicle is VLZ 7263.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information about the theft or whereabouts of the vehicle to contact them at Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000. On Saturday, 12 October, a number of people gained entry to a house on Ashmore Hill (two males and three females). A quantity of prescription drugs, including Effexor 2 x 22mg, Zopiclone 14 x 7.5mg, Co-Codamol 30 x 30mg, Tropisum 7 x 25mg, Saraqui 14x 50mg and 21 x 25mg, were taken.
Police cannot stress enough how harmful and dangerous it can be to take drugs which have not been prescribed specifically for you.

A 26 year old man has been sentenced to nine months imprisonment after pleading guilty to burglary and theft.
The male was arrested by police on Monday, 3 December, 2012. Police had received a number of reports of burglary and thefts from vehicles in Newry City Centre on Sunday and Monday, 2 and 3 December.
A shop at Buttercrane Shopping Centre was entered on Sunday, 2 December. CCTV captured a male entering the store under a shutter. A wallet was taken from the shop.
On Monday, 3 December, police received two reports of vehicles being entered on Hill Street. A dress, shoes and house and car keys were taken from one vehicle and a small sum of cash was taken from the second vehicle.
A number of businesses were also burgled on 3 December.
Staff at a dental surgery on Mary Street found a male trespassing and challenged him. He made off and staff discovered that cash had been taken.
Documentation was taken from property services premises and cash was stolen from staff lockers in a cafe on Hill Street.
The 26 year old male was arrested by police in The Mall area of Newry around 3pm on the same day. His clothing matched the descriptions of the male involved in the previous incidents and officers stopped and searched him. They seized a quantity of cash, both loose and in money bags and also a key.
He was interviewed by detectives from Newry's Reducing Offending Unit before being charged.
The male appeared before Newry Crown Court on 9 October, 2013 and pleaded guilty to four offences of burglary and two of thefts from vehicles. He was sentenced to nine months imprisonment.
At the request of police, the Judge ordered that all monies stolen should be returned to the injured parties and a donation of £100 be made to local addiction charity Cuan Mhuire.

Police in Newry have charged a 23 year old man following the theft of a mobile phone.
A Samsung Galaxy phone was taken from business premises on Basin Walk, Newry, on Sunday, 20 October.
A 23 year old man was arrested later that afternoon and charged with theft. He will appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on 13 November, 2013.
The mobile phone was recovered.

Two men were arrested in Newry yesterday morning and around £100,000 worth of Class A drugs seized.
The men aged 38 and 37 have been charged with various drug offences, including conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, and were due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court this morning.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the High Street area in the early hours of Friday 1st November.
It was reported that between 3am and 3.30am a 21 year old man and a 21 year old woman accompanied by a fourteen year old girl had all been assaulted by a number of youths in an underpass.
The youths were described as being in their teens and are believed to have made off in the direction of the Lower Water Street car park.
Three of the youths involved have been described as follows. A teenage male, approximately 17 years old, around 5'7" tall of slim build with ginger hair and was wearing a black hoodie. A female aged around 17, about 5'2" tall with short spiky red hair and swarthy complexion. A female around 14 year old with long blonde hair of medium build who was wearing shorts and training shoes.
The injured parties suffered cuts and bruising.
