Police in Newry are appealing for information following an arson in Drumgullion Avenue.
At 6.16pm on Wednesday, 15 January, it was reported that a black Renault Laguna was on fire. This incident is being treated as arson.

Banbridge PSNI are appealing for information following two incidents in the Poyntzpass area.
Some time overnight between Monday, 20th January and Tuesday, 21st January, two white Scania lorries, parked in a yard on Blackbridge Road, Poyntzpass, were broken into. Diesel and radio equipment were taken.
At 5.39am on Tuesday, 21st January, police received a report of a speedboat on fire at the rear of a property on William Street in Poyntzpass close to the junction of Railway Street. The fire is being treated as arson.

Apartments Damaged
Police in Newry are appealing for information after a number of apartments were damaged.
Some time between 8.30pm on Saturday, 25 January and 7.30am on Monday, 27 January, entry was foced to an apartment building in Canal Street. White paint was thrown around a number of apartments.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity around the building or area between Saturday and Monday to contact them.
Loanda Crescent Break In
Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary in Loanda Crescent.
Some time between 8pm on Saturday, 25 January and 8am on Monday, 27 January, the front door glass panel of a flat was broken and removed. The property was then entered and a gold watch and bracelet were taken.
Armagh Road Incident
Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following an incident in the vicinity of the Armagh Road, Newry.
Some time between 10pm and 11pm on Wednesday, 22 January, two males, with their faces covered, entered a house and demanded money. The males threatened the female occupant before making off empty handed in a car.
Police are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact CID in Newry.
iPhone Theft
Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of an Iphone from a parochial house on Dublin Road.
Around 6pm on Tuesday, 21 January, a male, female and two children called to the parochial house and came in to speak to a priest. They left a short time later and a black Iphone was noticed missing.
Police are keen to speak to the male and female who called to the parochial house. The male is described as being 5ft 11in tall, well built with blonde hair and in his mid 40s. He spoke with a Southern Irish accent. The female is described as being in her early to mid 40s, 5ft tall and average build with dyed blonde hair.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact police.
Car Fires
Police in Newry are appealing for information after two cars were set on fire.
Around 4.30am on Thursday, 9 January, police received a report of two cars on fire in Darragh Park. A silver Toyota Yaris and blue Volkswagen Passat were damaged during the incident and the fires are being treated as malicious.

Home Heating Theft
Police are appealing for information following the theft of home heating oil.
Some time between 11pm on Friday, 10 January and 9am on Saturday, 11 January, approximately 300-400 litres of oil was taken from a tank in the back garden of a house on Nursery Drive.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any unusual vehicles or people in the area during this time to contact them.
Car Damaged
Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage.
Some time overnight between Tuesday, 7 January and Wednesday, 8 January, a silver Audi car, parked in Chequer Court, was damaged with grafitti scratched into the bodywork.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to any of these incidents to contact them.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of guitars from a car on Armagh Road.
Some time between 8pm and 8.30pm on Friday, 7 February, the rear passenger window of a black BMW car was smashed and three guitars taken. The alarm in the car was activated.
The guitars are: a Gibson SJ200 (6 string) guitar in a case; a Guild F512 (12 string) guitar in a case; and a Martin D28 (6 string) guitar in a case.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of the guitars to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of damage to a car in the Parkhead Crescent area in the early hours of Sunday 26th January.
The rear windscreen of a parked Peugeot 306 car was smashed at around 4.45am by persons unknown. Police are appealing to anyone who may have noticed a small car such as a Renault Clio or Vauxhall Corsa being driven in the area at the time or any suspicious activity to contact them in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following two incidents of criminal damage that occurred on the afternoon of Friday 7 February.
At approximately 1.15pm, it was reported that the back windscreen of a Renault car had been damaged in the Abbey Heights area.
At approximately 2.05pm, it was reported that a Toyota car had been damaged by a brick in the Dunbrae area.

A man has been arrested by Police in Newry on foot of a European Arrest Warrant.
The 43 year old was arrested in the Newry area last Saturday on a warrant issued by Lithuania for rape and sexual assault.
He appeared before Belfast Crown Court on Sunday, 16 February for an initial extradition hearing.

Concentrating on Rural and Agricultural crime Police in Newry are hosting a Farm Watch and trailer marking event in early March.
Members of the rural community are invited to attend 31 Ardaragh Road (close to the Ardaragh/Curley Road Crossroads) between 10am and 2pm on Thursday, 6 March. Those attending are invited to bring along their trailers which will be marked by Newry Neighbourhood Policing Team so that they are more identifiable and easily recognised.
Trailer marking involves a unique ID mark, consisting of a series of letters and numbers, being painted on a trailer in an easily visible area using specialist paint and stencils. The trailer owner’s details and ID mark are recorded and held on a PSNI database which can then be checked if a trailer is seen on the road or in a location at a time that’s unusual. Trailer marking is just one strand of the PSNI's Farmwatch initiative which has been developed to help farmer's protect and secure their property and homes.
The aim of Farm Watch is to promote the importance of being vigilant and the need for improved communication- both in rural and farming communities and between rural communities and the PSNI.
The scheme includes :
Specific farm watch roadside/property signage to advertise the scheme is in place
Signage for placing on farm machinery linked to Farmwatch stating a warning that the property is uniquely mmarked.
Property marking scheme provided by the local NPT
Practical crime prevention advice to farmers and landowners to help ensure their property and goods are as secure as possible
An e mail and text alert service from police
All of this is free to members of the the rural and agricultural community.
Constable Gracey, Newry Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "We have been focusing on rural crime during February and want to take every opportunity to meet with members of the rural and agricultural crime and find more ways to support them and provide them with information about steps they can take to protect their property and livestock.
"Farmwatch allows us to share information with the right people at the right time and events like this give us the opportunity to meet the local community and gain a better understanding of local concerns and issues.
"Farmwatch can only be of benefit to all residents in rural and agricultural areas and I would encourage anyone who is interested in joining the scheme or having their trailers marked to come along to Ardaragh Road on Thursday, 6 March.
"By working together we can ensure a stronger approach to tackling crime and addressing local concerns."

Three windows in the car, which was parked outside a house, were smashed at around 10.30pm.
