Craobh Rua Hurling Club Host Successful Underage Hurling Presentation Night

The Craobh Rua Camlocha Hurling Club hosted their annual Underage Presentation Celebration Night on Friday. Guest of honour was Ryan Cinnamond who delivered an inspirational speech to the large attendance which included young hurlers, their parents and families, Team Mentors, Senior Hurlers, Club Officers and mentors. 

Ryan likened the work and training that he is doing with his new legs, to that of a young boy or girl learning the new skills needed for hurling. Craobh Rua Hurling Club would like to thank Ryan not only for his attendance at our special night but for his great example to others and we wish him well in all his endeavours.

The Richard Hughes Memorial Award which incidentally is the only juvenile award we have in our Club  was presented by Kevin Hughes and Ryan Cinnamond to Kevin Doyle with Teresa and DJ his proud parents present as was St Joseph's Primary School represented by Finnoula Bradley.

The Committee and members of Craobh Rua Hurling Club would like to thank all who helped make our underage celebration night a truly memorable occasion.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Club takes place Monday 24th of November at 7-30pm

Under 14: Coaching & Training has commenced in St Paul's on Thursday nights 7-30pm to 9. 

Christmas Draw: Tickets are still on sale for our fund raising Christmas Draw. Also anyone wishing to support our Club by becoming a sponsor should contact a committee member to discuss the options available.

Acknowledgement

Craobh Rua Hurling Club Camlocha would like to thank all those who donated to our "Bucket Collection" in Camloch village on the 21st July. The amount collected was £690.

Sympathies

Craobh Rua wish to extend our sympathies to the family of recently deceased Oliver Brannigan. The  Club was saddened to hear of the death of Paddy Ryan from Newmarket on Fergus County Clare, father of Christy who many of us got to know through the Poc Fada Craobh na hÉireann and the visit some years back of the Millwaulkee Hurling Club.
